The Spark, West Fork Whiskey Agritourism Project, and more – Indianapolis Monthly

The spark, Speedway’s very first local café, opens its doors this week at Speedway, after months of anticipation. The shop sells a variety of Bee Coffee drinks and pastries.

West Fork Whiskey innovates on one of Indiana’s most ambitious distillery tourism projects. The whiskey brand recently announced plans for a 35,000 square foot agri-tourism campus in Westfield. The entire project will occupy 12 acres at the corner of 191st Street and Horton Road, providing visitors with an intimate view of the distillation business, from grain bill to bottle, as well as event space, bar underground and a restaurant, as well as all their production facilities. Look for a potential opening sometime in 2022.

Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band now has a big hot sauce with lots of flavor, named after the band’s beloved washboard player, Breezy. You can pick up Breezy’s Bean Blossom Hot Sauce at The Wild Olive in Nashville the next time you’re walking around beautiful Brown County.

When Van Gogh’s immersive exhibit, The Lume, opens this week in Newfields, you can grab a snack to match the aesthetic. Just enter! created a special flavored popcorn blend called Starry Night (featuring white chocolate, blueberries, and lemon) to munch on as you admire immersive floor-to-ceiling projections of some of history’s most famous works.

You can now find Landlocked Baking Company’s pastries on Scum Coffee. Jordan Justice was making their vegan treats and recently decided to take a little sabbatical, but Indy’s vegan baking community is strong, so you don’t have to go without. Moonlight museum is back after last year’s pandemic break. The Fair for Grown Ups (21+) event is an annual tradition at the Children’s Museum, where food and drink vendors will enlighten you (responsibly) so you can do what you’ve always wanted to do: play with it. the shows with happy abandon with only other adults to share the mini building material.
