For a quick weekend to relax and rejuvenate, your getaway isn’t too north of Tyler. Right next to the highway. 14 (Tyler State Park Hwy) is’The tree house‘. My wife recently hinted that she would like to live in an above ground treehouse where she can see everything below her. So, by searching for “Tyler treehouses” on Airbnb, this tiny one-bedroom, one-bathroom studio appears for just $ 105 a night.

It all depends on your definition of “tree house”.

At first glance at the photos in the ad, I noticed that it wasn’t really a treehouse, in the sense of a traditional treehouse. This quint spot is more of a house among the trees! It is built in height and is located among several pines and oaks. You can still sit on the screened porch and see everything downstairs, even looking out of this studio’s many windows among the trees.

It’s about relaxing while staying at ‘The Tree House’.

This place would be great even for someone who wants to kick back and get away from it all for a night or for the couple looking to reconnect and get away from their crazy schedules. There’s not much to do other than relax, play washers, horseshoes, or visit Tyler National Park or the Tiger Creek Hut (which are nearby).

This place has an excellent review history with Airbnb scoring 4.88 out of 264 reviews, so it looks like it’s not going to disappoint at all when you realize you’re not staying in a tree house, but a house among the trees!
