To find the best of hidden gems, an algorithm analyzed the quality and quantity of reviews and ratings posted on Tripadvisor over the 12-month period from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022 for restaurants marked as “hidden gem” on Tripadvisor. . Restaurants that were awarded in the Fine Dining or Everyday Dining subcategories in 2021 were not eligible for this subcategory.
Top of the list this year, a plant-based dining experience in Cusco, Peru: Green Point.
