To see! What’s open on Asbury Park promenade
I’ve been saying for years that Asbury Park is a great place to be and be seen in New Jersey.
The Asbury Park promenade is also a great place to shop, eat … and have fun.
The promenade is open …
… and its businesses too, ready and happy to meet your wants and needs.
As I walked the “boards” at the New Jersey Natural Gas Asbury Park Boardwalk Studio, recently for our New Jersey 101.5 show, I was smiling the whole way, seeing so many stores open … and busy.
And, it hit me … that I should show you.
I tried to take the photos without being noticed (which can be difficult to do when wearing a New Jersey 101.5 T-shirt). It’s not all cafes, shops or businesses … but it’s most of them … until I get to the broadcast studio between 3rd and 4th Avenues.
With that said, let’s go:
Take a good look at the photo below …
… they are hiring. See the note on the door. YOU CAN WORK on the promenade. Cool.
As I continue to stroll … “I scream, you scream …
… we ALL scream for ICE CREAM. “
And, for a little lemonade. So refreshing.
Beach wear … hats, costumes and more.
All this walking makes me (again) hungry.
Satisfy your sweet tooth …
… while other members of your group are heading higher up the promenade to …
… hot dogs, sausages and steaks.
Of course, I would love an Italian ice cream.
AND:
Another refreshing fruit drink.
As I get closer to the broadcast location NJ101.5 (between 3rd and 4th avenues) …
I can take a slice …
… and a “RETRO” game.
PLEASANT.
I am almost the …
… the New Jersey Natural Gas Boardwalk Studio in Asbury Park.
It’s good to know that neither I, nor my promotions or my engineering staff, will have to go far for a hot dog, or a burger …
or for MORE …
Pizza. YUM.
You know what? There’s something for everyone along the Asbury Park promenade:
I can even …
… “putt around” for a long …
… New Jersey musical sweep 101.5.
There is so much to do and to see, along the Asbury Park promenade.
And, remember, this is your view along the way:
ENJOY Asbury Park, New Jersey.
Come back and check out all of my action-packed photos (again) before you go, so you’ll be in the know.
And, New Jersey 101.5 will be back, broadcasting LIVE on Saturday, August 28, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
I can not wait.
