Today’s show featured an Anna Maria hostel we love

Known for its old Florida vibe and azure waters, Anna Maria Island has already made national news, so it’s no surprise that the island’s hip and retro Joie Inn is catching the eye of NBC. Today To display. We were completely charmed by what the parents of four did to transform this four-bedroom hotel built in 1983 into a hip retro space that invites a vacation getaway, and we talked about it earlier this year.

A busy mother of four, co-owner Ashley Petrone took the time to share her decorating tips that transformed the dated inn into a chic Gulf Coast retreat. The practical couple had transformed spaces and hosted short-term vacation rentals in the past. Petrone and her husband Dino experienced the #rvlife and brightened up Instagram feeds with their chic 180-square-foot house on wheels that they renovated and lived in for a year. Off the road, they renovated several homes while living there in California, and with their background as Airbnb hosts, opening a beachfront hostel in Florida was a perfect way to settle down.

Inspired by the colors of the local seashells they found on the shore, they named the four bedrooms The Blush room (a pretty powder pink), The hall of sages (a light grey-green), The Terracotta Room (a rich, earthy brown) and The sun room (a cheerful yellow). The colors of the rooms match the tiles and the bedding.

It is not surprising that people from Today noticed the Joie Inn and loved this beach oasis we love.
