‘Triangle of Sadness’ trailer released

NEON released the theatrical trailer for the satirical comedy “Triangle of Sadness” on Tuesday.

The film centers on a model celebrity couple, Carl and Yaya, (played by Harris Dickinson and Charlbi Dean) who are invited to the luxury cruise for the uber-rich led by an alcoholic boat captain (Woody Harrelson).

It also follows guests stranded on an island after the sinking of the cruise.

The cast also includes Zlatko Burić, Iris Berben, Sunnyi Melles, Henrik Dorsin, Dolly De Leon, Vicki Berlin, Oliver Ford Davies and Arvin Kananian.

Executive producers are Brina Elizabeta Blaz, Alessandro Del Vigna, Lizzie Francke, Dan Friedkin, Ryan Friedkin, Micah Green, Andreas Roald, James Benjamin Shannon, Jim Stark, Daniel Steinman, Bradley Thomas, Dan Wechsler and Jamal Zeinal Zade. Philippe Bober and Erik Hemmendorff were also producers.

Swedish director Ruben Ostlund has won the Palme d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival for the second time in five years with ‘Triangle of Sadness’.

He won the Palme d’Or at Cannes in 2017 with “The Square”.

“Triangle of Sadness” is set to hit theaters on October 7.

The Man from Toronto: the Netflix movie labeled as
“The Toronto Man”

Harrelson was recently seen in the action-comedy movie “The man from Toronto”.

The film centers on the world’s deadliest assassin (Harrelson) who runs into New York’s biggest mistake (Kevin Hart) after their identities got mixed up in an Airbnb.

Harrelson joined the project after Jason Statham left the project in 2020.

“The Man from Toronto” is directed by Patrick Hughes and based on a story by Robbie Fox and Jason Blumenthal.

The film is produced by Columbia Pictures and Escape Artists and is distributed by Sony Pictures.

It also stars Kaley Cuoco, Pierson Fodé, Jasmine Mathews, Ellen Barkin, Lela Loren, Kate Drummond and Tomohisa Yamashita.
