What to do in Prague this weekend, July 23-25

Olympic Festival Park

Celebrate the Tokyo Olympics in Prague at the Stromovka Olympic Festival Park in Prague 7. The center opens on July 23. Until August 8, you can also try more than 30 sports here – tennis, football, karate, chess, softball, rugby or golf. On the first day, entry to the Olympic Park will be free, then you will pay 50 CZK.

Náplavka street food

  • WHEN: Saturday July 24
  • O: Naplavka Smichov

On Saturdays from 10 am to 8 pm, you can taste a selection of street food specialties from around the world – fresh fish, burgers, pljeskavica or even… insects! Taste traditional Sri Lankan dishes or discover traditional African dishes. Food stalls also offer fried donuts, crispy waffles, light macaroons, ice cream or a varied selection of sweet pastries and desserts.

Unique semmering in Prague

  • WHEN: Saturday July 24
  • O: Praha Hlavní Nádraží
  • PRICE: 20-32 CZK

This historic coach departs from the main station on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, except 24.12 – 1. 1. First, it crosses the Vinohrady tunnel, the Vltava river and the Hlubočepy viaducts at the Košíře-Motol nature park and at the Zličín train station. Then it returns to the main train station in Prague.

Open-air cinema at Kasarna Karlin

Located in the large courtyard of Kasárna Karlín, an open-air cinema with a capacity of 250 seats will be held from June to September. Find the entire program on the site program section.

On-site ticket sales begin one hour before the start of the screening. Tickets purchased in advance provide a seat, but not a yellow sofa – we recommend arriving on time.
