Why Randall Emmett threatened to call the cops on her

Lala Kent spoke about his separation from Randall Emmet Tuesday during his appearance on Jeff Lewis‘ radio program.

Seven months after the Vanderpump Rules discovered photos of the movie producer in Nashville with a few other women and quickly left their $6.29 million Bel Air home, Lala detailed her alleged cheating while explaining why Randall threatened to call the cops after his separation.

“It’s been seven months [after their daughter Ocean’s birth], it was him walking across the street with two girls and my hunch was just like, you couldn’t ignore it. I immediately had a stomach ache,” recalls Lala on Jeff Lewis Live. “Something is wrong. This person is not who you think they are. And my hunch was absolutely correct.

According to Lala, one of the women seen in the Nashville photo was someone Randall had met at a Miami nightclub in March last year – the same month she gave birth to their now elderly daughter one year.

“He was attracted to his girlfriend but her girlfriend wasn’t into him so he went for her. That’s when they started their relationship… They traveled together… She was like his main daughter but there were a lot of women,” Lala continued, telling Jeff that she knows “everything” but that she “will never reveal it”. [her] source.”

After the Nashville photos came to light, Lala began planning to move on from her former fiancé — unbeknownst to her.

“He went to Miami. I packed my things and he found out the next day. I received a lot of text messages. Because, you know, he wouldn’t let me leave the house with Ocean,” Lala revealed.

As Lala explained, Randall didn’t trust her to leave their old shared home with Ocean after learning of her date in Nashville and would actually threaten her if she didn’t return home.

“He threatened to call the police if I didn’t bring her back and he gave me periods of time when I could take her. I don’t think he knew I was leaving. I think he needed to take control of me again… I shudder just thinking about that time. It was awful,” admitted Lala.

While Lala played the game for a while, she finally left the property on October 27, 12 days after learning that her then-partner had been unfaithful.

“We [moved me out] fast. I was afraid he would have me watched, which he sent people to watch. Luckily, they didn’t watch me leave. I packed my things probably in four hours. I took my clothes. I went to an Airbnb that I had rented. It was one that I could get quickly and also one that was nice enough that I would enjoy staying there but not break the bank. I stayed there for just under a month,” Lala explained.

In addition to making headlines in recent months due to his alleged affairs, Randall has also faced legal drama, including a lawsuit from his former landlord and a second case filed by a loan company.

“I think it was $10.8, yeah. I don’t know the ins and outs of it. I was just sent the title,” Lala said in response. “I don’t really dive into what he’s going through because it really has nothing to do with me.”

That said, Lala didn’t seem too surprised by the lawsuits, saying that when her relationship with Randall ended, “people called me to collect money.”

“And I said, ‘We weren’t married. You must collect elsewhere. Sorry,” Lala explained.

Even before Lala was confronted with Randall’s supposed misdeeds, things between them weren’t as romantic as many assumed.

“I was always very excited by his presence,” confessed Lala. “We were great when he was out of town and we communicated through texts and phone calls, but by the time we were physically together it was non-stop arguing and I couldn’t understand why I was so turned on by him. All the time. ”

Although Lala initially thought she was the problem, “all the cracks” in their relationship began to show after Ocean arrived.

“I couldn’t ignore them anymore. So while I mean I was happy, now I have a big picture where I can put all the pieces together and everything makes a lot of sense. I feel like I’m comfortable,” she explained. “I had agreed, it was my life, it’s who I chose to be with, my heart feels safe and it’s good enough for me, even if for me, even if I’m still triggered by him. We did a great job portraying something different for the audience than what was happening in the house.

Lala went on to say that she never would have guessed that Randall betrayed her.

“I would have put Ocean’s life on him without ever crawling on me. And how sad is that? All I wanted in a relationship was for my person not to cheat on me. I just wanted someone loyal and faithful and I thought I had found that,” she concluded.

Well done renewed Vanderpump Rules for a 10th season earlier this month.
