Your messages of support as Lincoln City gears up for Blackpool’s huge clash at Wembley

Waves of support have poured in as Lincoln City prepares for one of the biggest games in its history.

The Imps have defied expectations all season and are just one game away from reaching the second level of English football for the first time in more than half a century.

Michael Appleton and his young team will travel to Wembley on Sunday May 30 after beating Sunderland in the playoff semi-finals.

Just Blackpool opposes a third promotion in five seasons.

Excitement is already growing, though restrictions on coronaviruses mean fewer than 4,000 will be allowed to be inside England’s national stadium to cheer the Imps on to victory.

However, the game will be broadcast live and ads are already filling up with bookings as people flock to watch Lincoln attempt to make history.

Keen to ensure that Michael, his staff and players are not lacking in support, Lincolnshire Live has asked people to send their messages of encouragement and luck ahead of the clash.
