A Dublin hotel has been named “Best Hotel in Ireland” and “Best Hotels in the World” by the Condé Nast Readers Choice Awards.

The survey was carried out by more than 800,000 registered voters who weighed in on their favorite hotels around the world and The Marker Hotel in Dublin Docks is part of the Top 50, arriving at number 46.

The description of the hotel by Condé Nast Traveler reads: “Dublin’s Docklands are known as ‘Silicon Docks’ with the European headquarters of Facebook, Google and Airbnb all locating here.”

“The Marker Hotel, a sleek geometric building in the middle of Grand Canal Square, is the unofficial landmark of the neighborhood. There’s a hip vibe everywhere, from the bright lobby to the rooms bursting with pops of color. You’ll always find young Dubliners having a drink in the atrium, and on sunny days the rooftop bar is sure to pop. “

The Marker Hotel took to Instagram to announce their achievement, writing: “We are delighted to announce that the Marker has been named ‘Best Hotel in Ireland’ and one of the ‘Best Hotels in the World’ by Choice from readers of Condé Nast Traveler. Rewards 2021!
