“America’s Got Talent” Season 17: Who is Mervant Vera? The magician gave 700 shows

From music to magic and everything in between, get ready for an all-new season of “America’s Got Talent.” According to the current season’s synopsis, “The 17th season of ‘America’s Got Talent’ returns with a new cast of budding artists looking to compete for the ultimate million dollar prize. Executive Producer Simon Cowell Returns in the star-studded jury with global fashion icon Heidi Klum, fan-favorite comedian Howie Mandel and acclaimed actress and international superstar Sofia Vergara. The dynamic Terry Crews returns as host. This season promises to deliver some of the craziest acts to ever grace the “AGT” stage.

Who is Mervant Vera?

Mervant Vera is a professional magician who was born and raised in Philadelphia. In a conversation with Philadelphia Sunday, he explained how he returned to his roots. “I was born and raised in Philadelphia – I’m from West Oak Lane,” Vera said. I went off to college, did a bunch of different things and came back to Philadelphia and now I have my own show. he said. LinkedIn page, Vera has performed over 700 shows and considers herself “a black belt in magic.” His other accomplishments include “Published Music Artist – Search ‘Mervant-Fabric’ on all streaming platforms, produced the first Hip-Hop Magic Show {magic music motion) published in the Stroud Courier. For his performance, Mervant combined a card trick with music. For each card he drew, Vera came up with a rhyme, rapping as he went, using an entire deck of cards to compose his rap song. Fans adored her performance and praised her creativity and uniqueness. In fact, many thought it was worthy of a golden buzzer. “Mervant was extremely creative and I believe there is something special about him. Good luck on your AGT journey, Mervant!!!” writes a fan. “It was absolutely amazing!! I’m sure he got a yes, and if the Golden Buzzer was still available, he deserved it!
