Who is Mervant Vera?

Mervant Vera is a professional magician who was born and raised in Philadelphia. In a conversation with Philadelphia Sunday, he explained how he returned to his roots. “I was born and raised in Philadelphia – I’m from West Oak Lane,” Vera said. I went off to college, did a bunch of different things and came back to Philadelphia and now I have my own show. he said. For his performance, Mervant combined a card trick with music. For each card he drew, Vera came up with a rhyme, rapping as he went, using an entire deck of cards to compose his rap song. Fans adored her performance and praised her creativity and uniqueness. In fact, many thought it was worthy of a golden buzzer. “Mervant was extremely creative and I believe there is something special about him.
