Brooklyn subway shooter charged with additional charges

Brooklyn subway gunman Frank James was slapped with a superseding indictment on Friday, charging him with 11 counts for the April Rampage which injured 10 people.

A federal grand jury indicted James on 10 counts — one for each shooting victim — of committing a terrorist attack or other violence against a public transit system. He was also charged with discharging a firearm in a violent crime.

If convicted, James faces life in prison, a spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York said.

The accused madman has already been charged in federal court in Brooklyn for the April 12 shooting aboard the N train in Sunset Park part of the borough.

Prosecutors allege James traveled from out of state – he was stay at an Airbnb in Philadelphia — to lead the attack at the rush hour that morning.

He allegedly dropped a smoke bomb on the train as it traveled between stations and shot dead 10 people, all of whom survived.

More than 20 people were injured in the melee, police said after the attack.

Jacques has appeared in court several times since his arrest. His trial is scheduled for early next year in federal court in Brooklyn.

It is unclear whether the replacement indictment will delay the trial.
