Brussels Airport acquires Jetpack and expands its data capabilities

Brussels airport company acquired a data analytics and artificial intelligence startup jet pack for an undisclosed amount.

The Belgian company Jetpack, which was founded in 2017 and has been working with Brussels Airport for several years, helps companies improve their processes and accelerate innovation by transforming data into usable information.

Brussels Airport plans to use data and AI to optimize and expand its passenger services.

Jetpack will continue to develop its solutions independently and establish an aviation-focused innovation center.

“Brussels Airport’s investment in Jetpack is perfectly in line with our strategy of continuous improvement of our operational and commercial performance in order to better serve our customers,” says Arnaud Feist, CEO of Brussels Airport Company.

“The optimization of our processes requires the real-time analysis of a large amount of data and the realization of forecasts based on the increased use of artificial intelligence. Thanks to Jetpack, we will accelerate our developments in this area.

Raphaël Krings, co-founder of Jetpack, adds: “Jetpack will continue to serve and develop its client portfolio independently. Thanks to this privileged link with Brussels Airport, which offers us a formidable field of multi-sector development, we will be able to accelerate the development of innovative solutions for all our customers.
