Caramel Digestives and Coconut Macaroons Revealed by McVitie’s

McVitie’s has expanded its candy repertoire, bringing back a flavor of digestives that were pulled from the shelves three years ago, as well as introducing a new Hobnobs flavor.

Caramel digestives are now back in supermarkets after being pulled from shelves in 2019.

They were first introduced in 1999, but due to popular demand they were added by McVitie’s due to “leaving a cookie-shaped hole in the hearts of cookie lovers across the country”.

Along with this, a new Hobnobs flavor is being introduced in the Coconut Macaron, which joins other flavors like the newest Dark Chocolate Sticky Caramel Pudding.

Simon Worne, Marketing Director at McVitie’s said: We are very excited to introduce another brand new flavor to the Hobnobs family, as well as bringing back a fan favorite with the relaunch of Caramel Digestives.

“We’re always looking to provide tasty twists on the classics for cookie lovers, and these two are no exception!”

Hobnobs Coconut Macaroons will be available for purchase at supermarkets including Sainsbury’s, Co-Op and Waitrose from November for £1.75 a pack.

Meanwhile, Caramel Digestives will be in supermarkets including Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons, Iceland, Co-Op and Waitrose from the end of October for £1.79 a pack.
