Carrie Bradshaw’s ‘Sex and the City’ apartment is for rent on Airbnb

To promote SATC’s 10-episode HBO Max reboot, which will be released in December, Airbnb is renting Upper East Side property for two, one night stays November 12-13. The reservation opens on Monday noon for a maximum of two people at a time.

Sarah Jessica Parker will show up to reprise her lead role — remotely, anyway. The actress will virtually greet visitors at check-in time to welcome them to a special experience that comes with perks that will have fans saying “Okay!” Renters can drink free cosmopolitans or pretend to be late for their chronicle deadline and play with Carrie’s laptop. The apartment is equipped with a cordless phone from the 2000s to filter your calls and a leather armchair reminiscent of Aidan’s rustic style.

Guests will be treated to a styling and photo shoot, and they can try on their favorite outfits from the show, like the Patricia Field tutu from the opening credits. Other looks in the promotional photos include “the naked dress”, a pair of mismatched stilettos from the SJP Collection and the red cowboy hat Carrie wore on her beach night out with Big and Natasha.

“I’m thrilled that our audience is experiencing Carrie’s New York like never before and walking in her shoes, literally, for the first time,” Parker said in an Airbnb press release.

People who book a stay are responsible for paying for their journey to and from New York. If the coronavirus situation changes and it becomes necessary to cancel reservations, Airbnb says it will offer guests a $1,000 Airbnb travel credit.
