I recently had the pleasure of dining at Chappie’s with my husband Dino while filming a Airbnb Listing in the zone. After completing the indoor photo shoot in a renovated farmhouse (see photo below and full photo gallery here) with views of the Catskill Mountains, we had a few hours to kill before twilight photos so we decided to explore the village of Roxbury. This is where we came across Chappie’s and decided to give it a try.

Like a professional travel and hospitality photographer, I have a keen eye for detail and ambiance, and Chappie’s did not disappoint. The restaurant has a modern rustic style that is both chic and cozy, with aged vintage touches. Modern lounge music playing in the background added to the vibrant atmosphere, providing a contrast to the rustic interiors.

But the real star of the show at Chappie’s is the food. I opted for the pesto chicken sandwich, which was absolutely delicious. The pesto sauce was flavorful and perfectly balanced, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. My husband Dino had the burger (as usual), which he said was one of the best he’s ever had. We also ordered some Bloody Marys, topped with crunchy celery and grape tomatoes. The drinks were the perfect complement to our meal and we couldn’t resist trying a few more cocktails from the full menu.

In addition to the excellent food and drink, the service at Chappie’s was top notch. Our server was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The restaurant was bustling with activity, but we never felt rushed or neglected.

Overall our experience at Chappie’s was just fantastic. From the modern rustic atmosphere to the delicious food and drink, we were very impressed. If you are in the Roxbury area be sure to pay Chappie’s a visit – you won’t be disappointed.
