Chris Pine, 41, stepped out in shorts and a tank top after it was announced he would be directing his first film. The actor’s hair was longer than usual and he had grown out his beard, which made him look very different from his usual Hollywood style.

Star Trek hunk Chris Pine was unrecognizable after letting his beard grow and kissing his gray hair.

The 41-year-old covered his eyes in dark aviator sunglasses and wore a white tank top over a pair of black athletic shorts.

The Into The Woods star added a pair of Havaianas to her fresh-from-the-gym look.

He added a gold necklace and he held a brown paper bag and a disposable mask.

The actor recently revealed that he is set to make his directorial debut with his comedy titled Poolman.

Chris will star alongside Annette Bening and Danny DeVito, who will play his neighbors.

Chris’ character, Darren, works as a pool attendant at an apartment complex with a philosophical bent.

He has been described as the “Big Lebowski meets LA film noir with a wholesome La La Land twist”.

Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins is also producing alongside Chris.

The synopsis reads: “The film centers on Darren Barrenman, a hapless dreamer and aspiring philosopher who spends his days tending to the pool at the Tahitian Tiki building in sunny Los Angeles and hosting parties. city ​​council meetings with neighbors Jack and Diane (DeVito, Bening),”

Wags and Walks told PEOPLE that Chris’ new dog already has a “sweet and playful bond” with the actor.

This is Chris’ second rescue dog after adopting another female pit bull in 2016.

On the rescue center’s Instagram, they shared an adorable photo of Chris’ new puppy, whose name was originally Chowder.

“We are Gumbo (white) and Chowder (brown). Aren’t we adorable? We are female pit bulls born around 11/15/21. We currently weigh around 15 pounds and are growing every day!

The rescue center said Chowder, who has now been named Babs by the actor, has “finally found her forever home.”
