Corrie’s Jack P Shepherd inspects his wax hair during a trip to Madame Tussauds in Blackpool
Jack P Shepherd came face to face with his wax work at Madame Tussauds in Blackpool on Thursday.
The Coronation Street star, 33, best known for playing David Platt, was joined by his gorgeous girlfriend Hanni Treweek for the highly anticipated unveiling.
Jack, who underwent hair transplants in 2018 and 2019, could then be seen cheekily inspecting his lookalike’s luscious locks.

The actor was visibly shocked when he came face to face with his double, but later couldn’t wipe the wide smile off his face.
He cut a relaxed figure for the low-key event in a dark sweater and chinos as he slipped his feet into black walking boots.
Influencer Hanni, who has been dating the actor since 2017, looked effortlessly chic in a cream knit ensemble that featured an oversized sweater and matching skirt.

Completing the look with snakeskin boots, she opted for a dewy make-up wash as her brunette tresses cascaded over her shoulders.
Jack’s famous Corrie character waxwork meanwhile sported jeans and a denim jacket as well as a playful look.
After undergoing his first procedure in 2018, Jack made the startled admission that hair loss was taking such a toll on his mental health that he nearly gave up acting.

He wrote: “9 months have passed since my hair transplant I decided to have one as my hair was falling out and it was affecting my mental health to the point where I considered quitting acting and not be in the public eye. Thank you @drasimshahmalak @CrownClinicUK for everything.’
Jack previously said he was convinced to have a transplant after his hair loss became more visible on screen.
He said at the time: ‘I decided to do this because my hair loss has really gotten worse over the past year, especially at the front of my scalp. I remember seeing myself on screen and thinking, ‘Oh my God, this is really falling apart.’

“A mate of mine had a transplant and he looked so much better after that I didn’t recognize him. I was blown away by the improvement and he told me he wished he had it done earlier.
Jack added: “I thought if I had to do it, I would have to act now so I could enjoy it longer.”
“I want to get my hair back to what it was before so I can style it the way I want in the front. It would be great to be able to have an Elvis feather and really have fun with my hair.

Twins: the star took several pictures with himself
Last year, David slammed a vicious Twitter troll who claimed he needed a “good stream” and accused him of being “too thin”.
The actor angrily responded to a mean troll who tweeted, ‘Wise up…he. looks like someone who needs a good diet,” adding that Jack is “far too thin” and “doesn’t look good.”
Jack then bravely shared the details of his secret eating disorder and sarcastically thanked them for being “nice”.
He tweeted in January 2021: “I have an eating disorder. Thanks for being kind.

To which one of Jack’s followers praised the actor for raising awareness and speaking out.
They said, “Well done for speaking up, but you shouldn’t have to explain yourself.” Ppl too quick to judge fat/thinness etc. x.’
While another account added, “Good for you to have spoken. Me too and you inspired me to say it out loud.
