As summer short-term rental market heats up, government technology and analytics provider to meet government officials at top-tier conferences

Using its AI and advanced image analysis technology, Deckard empowers local governments with insights to manage short-term rentals (STRs), such as properties listed on VRBO and Airbnb, and recover property taxes and mandatory transitional occupancies that support schools, infrastructure, fire, security and other important services. STR listings are on the rise in the U.S. overall, with the average number of unique listings available expected to increase more than 20% in 2022 compared to 2019 according to AirDNA.

Deckard will showcase two software platforms at trade shows. Propertyscape identifies property upgrades made without plans or permits on residential properties used for commercial purposes.

Rentalscape, introduced in 2019, is already used by governments in California, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, New York, Colorado, among others.
