Doireann Garrihy Enjoys Roman Holiday With Boyfriend Paddy

Doireann Garrihy has documented a fantastic trip to Rome with her boyfriend Paddy Wilson who took part in some of the Italian capital’s big draws.

She launched a series of short clips on her Instagram Story, one of them shaking her head to music while drinking an Aperol Spritz.

She captioned the video with a gif that reads “Leave the good times Aperol.”

The presenter then films the Pantheon and writes: “There was a time when I knew the dimensions of this building, no joke. Exit Cert Etudes Classiques”.

Then Doireann filmed a pastry and coffee and said, “I’ve got fuel for the Colosseum – oh yeah.”

Doireann then poses for a snap at the Colosseum in a stunning black and yellow floral dress.

She writes: “My eyes are closed on every photo”.

She then revealed that they were in the Roman Forum.

“I just wish we could see a little glimpse of daily Roman life back when this was the epicenter of the Roman Empire,” she wrote.

Taking a break between all the visits, Doireann enjoys a wonderful charcuterie board with different meats and vegetables and a glass of wine.

She then throws a coin over her shoulder into the Trevi Fountain as her boyfriend Paddy jokes, “You missed”.

The couple then head to Vicus Caprarius – the city of water before having a drink on a rooftop garden.

Doireann recently celebrated Paddy’s 29th birthdayand birthday in a series of cute snaps showing her appreciation for her man.

She wrote: “Happy birthday Pad. I don’t share many of you here because a) you’re a little allergic to oul insta and b) it’s good to keep you a little for me.

“It was about time you joined the ’29 club, it’s going well. Bert and I are lucky to have you.”

Bert is the name of her pet dog she received last year for her 28th birthday.

They have been best friends ever since, although Bert recently had an accident.

Doireann was playing outside with his dog when he slipped and injured himself.

She wrote: “I was throwing a tennis ball on the green with Bertie last night, he skidded on the pavement and sand got into his little eyes.

“I tried to rinse him off but his eyes were completely closed… The real drama in me, I couldn’t take it.

“The vet cleaned his eyes and there are no scratches on his cornea.”

“Honey,” she added.
