Dome AirBnB lets you see the stars in Northern Minnesota
If you want to get some peace and quiet and also see some awesome stars, this is the AirBnB you’ll want to rent.
This is called the Laguz Dome de Klarhet. Laguz is Old Norse for “water, sea and deep consciousness”. In other words, it’s a time to sit down, look at the stars, and maybe take some time to think. It really is the best time of year for that. And these domes make it easy to stargaze without all the city lights getting in the way of that activity. You can get a clear view of the sky as long as it’s not cloudy. They call it “Dark Sky Viewing”.
The description on the AirBnB website describes the domes as follows:
It looks like the perfect weekend getaway – either alone or with a few other people. There is one bedroom located on the ground floor of the dome, with a bathroom that includes a shower. There is a kitchenette, a fireplace to keep everything warm, and also a second bed on a ladder. So keep that in mind… scale.
There is also a fire pit and some small farm animals like goats and chickens.
As for the cost, it’s a bit pricey at just under $400 a night. I don’t know if it’s a seasonal price or not.
