Dubai ranked 10th best Airbnb destination in 2022

A new report from Inkifi has revealed that Dubai ranks tenth in the world for the number of Airbnb stays. According to research, Dubai has 15,948 active Airbnb rentals as of July this year.

According to data from the Inkifi report, the city with the most Airbnb listings is London, with 34,135 listings at press time, followed by Paris (24,940), New York (22,586), Istanbul (21,625), Shanghai (20,732), Chengdu (17,818), Rome (17,756), Rio de Janeiro (17,165), Mexico City (16,977) and Dubai (15,948).

The research also revealed that living like a local in one of London’s top Airbnbs is a great place to experience the city. Paris is the perfect place for stunning views of the Eiffel Tower, delicious French cuisine, and romantic walks through the city’s cobbled streets. Additionally, New York is the eighth city with the most expensive Airbnb rates.

Further research reveals that since 2019, the number of active Airbnb rentals has declined across the board. The total number of registrations for the top ten destinations fell from 303,535 to 209,682, which equates to a drop of 30.92%.

The city with the highest density of Airbnbs is Pattaya where there are 79.25 active rentals on the market per 1,000 people living there. Ankara has the cheapest average daily rate for Airbnbs, with travelers paying just £17.13 per night. While Las Vegas is the most expensive place to stay in an Airbnb property, with average daily rates of £186.33.
