Elbit Systems presents the Skylark 3 hybrid STUAS at the Singapore Airshow 2022
(February 15, 2022)
Elbit Systems is showcasing the Skylark 3 Hybrid Small Tactical Unmanned Systems (STUAS) for the first time at the Singapore Airshow 2022.
The Skylark3 Hybrid is equipped with a hybrid propulsion system, both electric and internal combustion, tripling the endurance and offering up to 18 hours of operation without a change in size or weight, considerably increasing the efficiency of the mission and profitability.

The Skylark3 Hybrid uses its combustion engine to quickly fly to the area of interest (AOI) and switches to electric motor while operating above the AOI. The new Skylark’s dual motor architecture allows one to support the other, providing greater reliability and safety. The Skylark 3 Hybrid’s significantly higher endurance provides forces with greater ability to hover above AOI and requires fewer rigs to execute the same mission.
Skylark 3 Hybrid is based on the Skylark family of STUAS which have been ordered by 27 countries to date. Skylark 3 Hybrid has a wingspan of 4.7m, a maximum takeoff weight of 50kg, a service ceiling of 12,000ft and a range of 120km. It features dual payload capability with a “plug and play” interface for quick sensor replacement in the field. The Skylark 3 Hybrid is capable of integrating a range of payloads, including a high-resolution electro-optical gimbal payload, ELINT, COMINT, laser designators and others. It is deployed and operated by a crew of two, launched via a pneumatic launcher, and can be vehicle or vessel mounted. Two Skylark 3 hybrid STUAS can be assigned to the same mission managed simultaneously by a shared ground control station.
Elbit Systems is on stand C-N65 in the Israeli pavilion.
