November jobs report released on Friday

The federal government will release the November jobs report on Friday.

Economists expect the report to reflect slow job growth. Only about 200,000 positions should have been added.

Tech companies, in particular, cut jobs last month.

Biggest three-week mortgage rate cut since 2008

Mortgage rates fell for a third straight week, posting their biggest three-week drop in 14 years.

The average rate for a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage was 6.49% this week, down from a high of 7.08% on Nov. 10, according to Freddie Mac.

The new Airbnb platform allows tenants to host apartments

Airbnb is launching a program that will showcase “Airbnb-friendly apartment buildings” for rent.

It will allow future tenants to rent their accommodation for short stays.

The company’s co-founder says the service will help tenants earn more money amid rising living costs.

OPEC Achieves Largest Crude Oil Output in Two Years

OPEC has cut its crude output to the max since 2020, sticking to a new deal aimed at stabilizing global oil markets.

The group is expected to keep supplies unchanged when it meets on Sunday.
