Hilton opens a hotel in Hiroshima, Japan

Hilton expanded its hotel portfolio in Japan with the opening of Hilton Hiroshima, the brand’s 600th hotel worldwide and the city’s first property.
The hotel is located less than a 10-minute drive from Hiroshima Station and within walking distance of the UNESCO World Heritage Site “Atomic Bomb Dome” and Peace Memorial Park – which attract over 1.7 million visitors per year.
Guests will also enjoy easy access to major restaurants, shops and sights such as Hiroshima Castle and Itsukushima Shrine with its famous floating torii gate.
The hotel overlooks the Hiroshima cityscape, with views of the Seto Inland Sea and the mountains beyond.
