The actress recently joined the cast of The Wanderers, an off-Broadway show, according to Deadline.
She is set to play a movie star in the show, written by American playwright Anna Ziegler, which will begin preview performances on January 26, 2023 and open until a wider audience on February 16 at the Laura Pels Theatre.
The Wanderers centers on a Jewish man named Abe who is a famous novelist. He receives an email from a movie star named Julia Cheever, played by Holmes, who puts his marriage to the test.
Holmes made her Broadway debut in the 2008 revival of All My Sons written by Arthur Miller alongside John Lithgow and Dianne Wiest.
Four years later, she starred in Theresa Rebeck’s Dead Accounts, which ended in January 2013.

Holmes also recently wrapped filming on an untitled Ilene Chaiken/Melissa Scrivner-Love/Fox project as well as the film Rare Objects.
