The final saw the remaining three masked celebrities, Scissors, Onomatopoeia and Pearly King, dance to be crowned the winner.

But unfortunately, Pearly King was capped in the final and kicked by the judges.

Despite two impressive performances, the audience gave them the boot, leaving panelists Davina McCall, Peter Crouch, Oti Mabuse, French Dawn and John Bishop stunned.

Host Joel Dommett revealed the fame in third place, as Bruno removed his mask, leaving fans in shock.

Onomatopée and Ciseaux will compete for the winning spot.

Tonight, Scissors kicked things off with plenty of cheerleading references as they performed an upbeat routine to Aretha Franklin’s Respect.

There was another musical clue after Coronation Street stars Daniel Brocklebank and Harriet Bibby filmed a short segment, hinting that the famous person has appeared in musicals.

This was followed by Onomatopée, which revealed that they had previously charted.

They pulled out all the stops with a fast-paced number for Ella Eyre’s Came Here For Love.

The judges quickly guessed Coyote Ugly star Adam Garcia, while Dawn guessed Jason Donovan.

But a clear reference to LeAnne Rimes’ hit song Can’t Fight the Moonlight cemented their initial assumption that it was Hollywood star Adam who was hiding behind the mask.

Third place, Pearly King, who left hints of paso doble dancing and Italian olives.

They blew the audience away with their powerful performance on Gayle’s ABC.

The jury immediately guessed Strictly star Bruno Tonioli, with more ballroom and dance references.

The characters then performed for the second time, with Scissors with an energetic routine for Spice Girls, Onomatopoeia returned with a smooth performance on the BTS track Butter and Pearly King pushed the boat out with their moves on Hard to Handle by The Black Crowes. .

Last weekend, Girls Aloud star Kimberely Walsh was unmasked as Odd Socks and Olympic star Denise Lewis was unveiled as Sea Slug.

Other celebrities to reveal their identities ahead of tonight were Hollywood actor Jesse Metcalfe, GBBO star Liam Charles, Channel 4 host Steph McGovern, David and Frankie Seaman, singer Gareth Malone, presenter Stacey Dooley and actress Joanna Page.

The jury for this series was made up of Jonathan Ross, Oti Mabuse, Davina McCall and Peter Crouch replacing Mo Gilligan.
