BURLINGTON — Dedric and Krystal Polite say earning income flipping houses is something anyone can do.

“You can do it while keeping your day job…what we do is accessible to the average individual,” Krystal Polite said.

In just a few years, the Polites have made millions by buying, renovating and flipping houses and properties. Now, this powerful and inspiring couple are opening up their lives and acquaintances as the stars of a new TV series titled “50/50 turnaround.”

In the show, which begins at noon Saturday on the A&E Network, the Polites renovate and flip 10 single-family and multi-family homes, each for less than $50,000 and all in less than 50 days.

The show is as much about investment strategy as it is about house flips.

“Most real estate swimmers aren’t interested in building a portfolio of cash properties, which is our primary focus,” said Dedric Polite, 40.

The Polites own and operate Be Polite Properties LLC, a business they started in 2017 in Burlington. They buy and renovate properties, then rent or sell them. They have grown from three properties to over 60 rental units valued at over $5 million. Their business has grown to include four entities, each focusing specifically on the purchase of single and multi-family homes and apartment buildings with the goal of returning or retaining long-term income.
