Mint House, an aparthotel, soon in the EDGE district
Promising the comforts of home with the ease and reliability of hotels, Mint House in Metro St. Petersburg is nearing the spring opening of its hospitality concept in the EDGE district. The building, located at 77 11th Street North, will house seven floors of 100 furnished apartments equipped with technologies available for short-term rental, such as hotels or AirBNBs.
Built by DevMar, Mint House sits in a prime location (across from Red Mesa Mercado and behind Copa, for frame of reference) as the neighborhood around it continues to grow. The company behind the concept is a national brand, with 25 locations already open across the country. This will be the company’s third location in Florida, with two more in Miami.
The concept is to provide travelers with spacious high-tech apartments in a more hotel-like setting, offering spaces with amenities such as in-unit laundry, 24/7 digital concierge service, a form on-demand physics inside units and even custom options. like pre-stocked groceries. Their goal is to provide “the comforts of home”, alongside the “luxury of a hotel”.
Mint House will also have a resort-style swimming pool, fitness center and bicycle rental program. Especially popular among business travelers, each Mint House unit comes equipped with a full kitchen, living and dining areas, and ample work space. No opening date has been set, although construction is nearing completion.
