More snow on the way to Indiana

INDIANAPOLIS – Another round of flurries are heading for Indiana this week – here’s when you need to be ready:

Monday in brief

Next chance for snow?

It will come quickly. Early Tuesday morning we will begin to see mixed precipitation. By the time you wake up Tuesday for the commute to work, expect light snow for the central and northern parts of the state. Mixed precipitation and rain showers towards the south. Tuesday morning rides can be slippery and dangerous at times. Be careful, the temperatures will be freezing.

The cold air is here to stay

There is some major resistance with this cold air that we know. The higher-tier models have us even colder over the coming days, with no warming in sight.

A frosty 7-day forecast for Indianapolis

Low temperatures drop below freezing for most days of the coming week. High temperatures are struggling to get out of the 30s! Bundle up, Hoosiers, it’s going to be cold for a few weeks.
