New bus service from Toronto to Ottawa offering fares of $4.99 this week
A new bus service is launching in Canada with fares below $10 this week. FlixBus will launch its domestic service from April 7, 2022.
In addition to its express line from Toronto to Ottawa, it will also have a Niagara Falls-Toronto line including a stop in St. Catharines, as well as a more comprehensive local line with stops including Waterloo (University of Waterloo), Kitchener (Centre -city), Guelph, Mississauga and Toronto.
As a special offer for Canada, FlixBus says it will offer a special rate of $4.99 by April 6.

“Ontario is a dream bus market with some of the fastest growing cities in North America and we are extremely excited to begin establishing connections here. said Pierre Gourdain, General Manager of FlixBus North America. “We also hope the service will provide Ontarians with financial respite from rising gas prices with a green mobility alternative to help riders rediscover this wonderful province.”
According to the company, its new buses offer free Wi-Fi, power outlets at every seat and a FlixBus app for booking.
As for its departures, the Ottawa-Toronto will operate Thursday through Monday with one trip in each direction per day, while Niagara Falls-Toronto and Waterloo-Toronto will run daily service in each direction, with double service Thursday through Monday.
