As you will see in the video just posted by New York State Policesoldiers and citizens teamed up to rescue a man who had fallen through the ice on Case Lake in Franklinville, but it could have been your lake.

Monday, February 28, according to New York State Police Facebook page, a call was sent to the dispatcher about a man who was ice fishing for a moment and the next day he had fallen through the ice and was about 75 feet from shore. The agents grabbed some gear and got to work!

There was another ice fisherman on the scene, and he assisted the soldiers by speaking to one end of the rope, stepping on the ice, and tying the rope to the victim.
