The world’s first and tallest 360-degree infinity pool will launch in mid-November in Dubai – and recently released photographs show the stunning views guests will have from the top.

The Aura Skypool is located on the 50th floor of the 52-story Palm Tower on Palm Jumeirah Island – 200m (656ft) above ground.

The photographs show that when guests float in the record-breaking lagoon, they will be able to soak up the view of the Persian Gulf and the famous Dubai skyline.

The Burj Al Arab is shown in the north-facing view, while from the west, the Palm Jumeirah archipelago stretches out into the gulf.

Ain Dubai – the world’s tallest and tallest observation wheel – is in sight in a fourth photograph, looking south.

To access Aura Skypool, created by Sunset Hospitality, guests will be transported to the 50th floor in dedicated elevators.

They will come out in an area divided into two spaces – a pool terrace and a lounge bar.

Photographs of the infinity pool have yet to be released, but renderings show the water will wrap around a 750-square-meter (8,000-square-foot) terrace, with lounge chairs dotted along it. the swimming pool.

One statement reads: “Home to chic but comfortable bespoke lounge chairs and lounges, guests are treated to a 360-degree swimming experience with a stunning backdrop to capture that perfect shot.”

Natural materials, stone and concrete were used in the design of the space, and touches of modern geometric accents can be found throughout.

The statement adds, “Lush foliage and natural design elements merge with high-end interior finishes, creating an elegant oasis fueled by a socially energetic atmosphere. “

The lounge, meanwhile, is where visitors can order international dishes with a pan-Asian twist.

Chef Craig Best will be behind the menus, which promise to feature a sticky duck confit salad, glazed miso salmon, loaded grilled cauliflower and a pickled pineapple sundae for dessert.

Two floors above, on the 52nd floor, is The View at The Palm, a 360-degree viewing platform that opened to the public in April.

A 264-room, 26-suite St Regis hotel opened at The Palm Tower in May, occupying the first 18 floors of the skyscraper. It is also home to 432 luxury residences and a variety of dining and leisure facilities.

The Palm Tower is directly connected to the Nakheel Mall, a luxury shopping center with 350 shops, restaurants and attractions.

Aura Skypool will be open daily from 10 a.m. until sunset. Three time slots will be available for tickets – morning, afternoon, or a full day by the pool. Tickets will cost from £ 34 (AED 170) per person. All reservations include a sunbed, lounge access and a “tailor-made welcome pack”, according to the statement, which added that bathers will enjoy “an experience like no other”.
