Salt Lake City—Smart home fragrance company, Pura announces their partnership with Syd & Shea McGee of Studio McGee, the interior design studio and stars of Netflix Dream home makeover show, for a collection of four perfumes. These fragrances have been developed to bring the same harmonious aesthetic and comfort that Studio McGee brings into every home they design and will be compatible with the Pura Smart Fragrance Diffuser.
The Pura Smart Scent Diffuser plugs into any US-based outlet and uses Bluetooth technology to connect to an accompanying app so customers can control the strength and timing of the scent, and even switch between the scents. Founders Richie Stapler and Bruno Lima designed Pura to be a stylish accent piece to enhance the style and theme of any room, something Shea McGee has enjoyed for many years.
When creating the scents, Mara Dumski, Pura’s Chief Fragrance Officer, said, “We were thrilled to work with Shea to develop scents that would finish a space, because creating a scent is so similar to creating a design for a room. . She wanted something elevated and accessible, relaxed, traditional and coastal, and sharing those values with perfumers helped create something unique and special that would bring comfort and beauty into the home.

The fragrances that will be included in this collection are:
- Wild Sage: Crisp, energizing air and aromatic clary sage join warmer notes of fig and sandalwood to create a naturally and beautifully balanced scent.
- Vanilla Sandalwood: A seductive blend of almond, white cardamom, and sandalwood, this scent brings a romantic, relaxed feel to any space.
- Sea Salt Driftwood: Salty elements join notes of citrus, airy driftwood and amber to create a dreamy coastal getaway.
- White Bergamot: Citrus, greens and woods come together effortlessly for a scent that’s both modern and artfully understated.
