Queen Elizabeth usually spends the winter months, December to February, at Sandringham, so some lucky punters may even stumble upon its famous owner.
The house is described as a “charming hideaway” “nestled in the heart of his beloved Sandringham Estate country retreat”.
It is billed as “the closest real estate property to Sandringham House itself”.
The house features elements previously exhibited in other royal residences.
“The Garden House offers charming and relaxed accommodation for eight people spread over two floors,” the description reads.
“Eclecticly furnished from the royal collection, all furniture and paintings were once housed in a royal residence.”
It has three bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and two bedrooms containing twin beds, but no queen-size bed.
“The functional kitchen benefits from an AGA [cooker] and there is a comfortable living room overlooking the beautiful garden, ideal for relaxing,” the description reads.
There is a washing machine, dryer, bath, Wifi and a “dedicated workspace” at the property, which allows pets.
However, the piece de resistance seems to be located outdoors, with a formal walled garden and an informal garden where children and pets can play.
“Formerly the home of the Queen’s Head Gardener, as you would expect, the gardens are a pure delight and provide a superb setting for this idyllic home,” the description reads.
Despite its royal connections, guests will not deal directly with members of the royal family or their aides, with holiday rental company Norfolk Hideaways listed as the official host of the property.
The new listing comes just weeks after some of the monarch’s Scottish properties became available to rent on the site.
Colt Cottages on the Balmoral Estate is the cheapest, sleeping up to five people and with prices starting at £555 ($946).
