You know that feeling you get? You know this one: it’s where you want to single bag and get away to Miami Beach, but you don’t have the time (or the means) to do it. We understood; we often find ourselves feeling the same way. Well, we went to find a luxurious getaway tucked away in Jeffersonville, Indiana, right on the beautiful Ohio River, and with waterfront views from nearly every window, it’s easy to forget that you’re in the Midwest while you’re staying here. You’d be doing yourself a huge disservice by not visiting this gorgeous Indiana river home when planning your next last-minute getaway. What would you take in this one bag?
You get the whole house to yourself; it’s incredibly sleek and very modern, yet still comfortable enough to relax and unwind.
It sleeps up to eight very comfortably, but we totally understand if you’re feeling more alone, or better yet, a haven of peace where all your worries melt away.
The neighborhood is as charming as the view of the river. It’s quiet and friendly, and it’s easy to feel like you live here.
River Den is easily one of our favorite river houses we’ve ever covered. It’s really hard to top the amazing river views you get even from the rooms. Imagine waking up at sunrise by a river with a cup of coffee and that book we mentioned earlier. Pure paradise.
Of course, you can still get out on the water! Rent a boat or bring your own; Boating in Ohio can be both invigorating and relaxing, and there are plenty of things to do in these areas.
