See 90s Icon Carmen Electra Now At 50 Best Life

If a star wanted to make a splash in the 90s, in more ways than one, by appearing on Baywatch was one way to do it. When Carmen Electra joined the show as Lani McKenzie for one season in 1997, it became her breakout role. This, combined with modeling for magazines, including Playboymade her one of the biggest sex symbols of the 90s. Her high profile relationship with the NBA player Denis Rodman also made its share of headlines.

Today, it’s been about 25 years since Electra rose to fame, and although she’s not acting as much as she used to, she still remains active in the entertainment world. She also just celebrated a milestone birthday, turning 50 on April 20 and sharing her celebrations with her fans on social media. Read on to learn more about Electra today.

Regarding her acting career, in addition to her Baywatch role, Electra has starred in several parody films, including the horror movie franchise, which began in 2000. She has also been in Disaster movie, epic movieand date movie. The actor also appeared in the films Cheaper by the dozen 2, Starsky and Hutchand Baywatch: Hawaiian wedding.

More recently, Electra has appeared in a few television series. She was in episodes of Franklin & Bash and Joan the Virginand her last role was in a 2018 episode of alone together.

She wrote on the video, “Thank you all for your birthday wishes.” The day before her birthday, she too posted a video by itself since last year’s birthday and wrote, “It’s almost that time again #birthday #tangerine #bikini.”
