At around $ 650 a night (some nights), that makes it a very affordable price of $ 40 a night, split among 17 of your closest friends.
Throughout the house, you can spot 16 Easter Eggs from the movies as you travel through the forest moon of Endor and roam the galaxy. To top it off, the rental property is just 15 minutes from Disney’s Galaxy’s Edge in Orlando, Florida, so you can spend the whole day at the park, living your Star wars dream, then come home to see some zzzz among the movie’s most iconic scenes.
According to Airbnb announcement, βIn this galaxy far, far away, work and the ‘real world’ are light years behind you. Set aside the first 10 minutes of your vacation just to roam the house and experience – and watch the kids discover – all of the features that make Twelve Parsecs a live movie set. (If the film sets had a private heated pool and resort amenities, of course.) β
Loma Vacation Rentals worked with an amusement park theme company to make each room look like a planet from a galaxy far, far away. So, let’s jump into the speed of light and check them all out. Hit him!
The master bedroom of the Millennium Falcon
You can certainly do the Kessel Run in 12 parsecs with this master chamber decked out. Designed to resemble the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon, the bed is perfect for Han Solo and Chewie’s friends. It’s even equipped with special effects, lights, and buttons to make it look extremely realistic. Outside the bed you will also discover the galaxy with a mural of stars, planets and of course the iconic Death Star.
Race through Tattooine in this Podracer themed room
Relive the adventure with young Anakin as you roam Tatooine in these podracer-themed beds. The beds commemorate the Boonta Eve Classic and let you jump right into it and go fast towards your dreams. The walls are even designed to resemble the desert to help complete the scene.
Train with Yoda in the Dagobah Swamps
Train with Master Yoda, you must. In this room, you can enter the swamps of Dagobah and find the infamous Master Yoda to begin your Jedi training, just like Luke Skywalker. Learn all about the Force from the 900-year-old Jedi Master and sleep well as you learn everything he teaches you. Remember, do or don’t, there is no trying. May the force be with you.
Frolic with the Ewoks
Join the cutest characters in the Star wars universe and frolic around this room on the theme of Endor. You can live among the trees just like the Ewoks and remember the movies. The walls in this room are painted to resemble trees, so it looks like you’re sleeping in the forest moon of Endor, and the bed is designed to aesthetically resemble Ewok huts.
Float in Cloud City like Lando
Floating in the clouds of the planet Bespin, Cloud City is under the control of the young smuggler Lando Calrissian. In this room you can sleep like Lando on a floating cloud bed. The bed appears to be floating and includes glowing lights underneath to add to its heavenly vibe. The room also includes a fog machine, paintings from the film, and a carpet with Han Solo in carbonite.
Hoth’s Ice Cave Room
Just like Luke Skywalker, you can visit Hoth’s Ice Caves in this spooky chamber. Complete with icicles, a snow-inspired bed, and beautiful icy murals, the room resembles the iconic scene from the movie. Hopefully, however, you won’t encounter any wampas while you’re at it.
Mustafar lavas
If cold isn’t your style then you might want to add some warmth to your stay and head to the dark side. This lava-filled room is inspired by Mustafar, a fiery planet from the Outer Rim that also serves as Darth Vader’s birthplace. The bedroom has a bunk bed so you can choose who sleeps as Vader on the top bunk and who serves him down.
Live like a queen in Naboo
If you are looking for serenity and peace, then this room is for you. On the theme of the Royal House of Naboo, this room offers a bed fit for a queen. You can even look through the stone mural and see a window with waterfalls and a picturesque landscape.
