Stay in a Willy Wonka-inspired hotel room with lickable wallpaper
Oompa oompa doom-pa-de-do, we have a great little holiday idea for you.
This is a room for chocolate addicts and Dahl fans: a hotel room based around Willy Wonka’s iconic chocolate factory.
Those lucky enough to stay in the room can look forward to encountering anything Willy Wonka inspired by, as you can see in the mockups that just came out.
Candy fanatics can enjoy lick wallpaper in a variety of flavors, chocolate fountain with fruit and marshmallows to dip, jars of gobstoppers, gumballs, chocolates and candy in abundance, and images adorning the walls paying homage to the family’s favorite movie.
The bathroom also has more treats – chocolate scented toiletries, jars of candy, a purple dress, and slippers resembling the blazer worn by Wonka himself, and (on request for an additional fee) guests can have the bath filled with liquid chocolate.
Even the hotel room key card will be a golden ticket.
It’s not just a chocolate haven, however, the bedroom has all the comforts you would expect, such as Egyptian cotton bedding, a memory foam mattress, and blackout blinds to ensure a good night’s sleep. when the sugar rush wears off.
All in-room treats are unlimited and will be replenished according to guest’s wishes, and hygiene conscious people need not worry as the lick wallpaper will be replaced after each stay.
The room will be available for £ 200 per night. Adding the chocolate bath costs £ 150 per bath.
Matthew Fox, CEO of LateRooms, said: “We are truly delighted to be working with The Chocolate Box Hotel to create this room, offering something so magical and memorable for both chocolate lovers and everyday vacationers. .
