We are approaching the final stages of Come dance strictly 2022 and the drama shows no signs of slowing down, both on and off the dance floor.

After a triumphant return to Blackpool, things were a bit less stellar with a competition favorite returning home and another competitor ruled out with COVID.

Just when you thought COVID cancellations were a thing of the past, Kym Marsh has been excluded from this weekend’s show after testing positive for the virus.

This marks the first time in this series that a contestant has had to miss a show due to COVID, a common issue for the past two years.

However, Marsh and partner Graziano Di Prima are expected to return to the dance floor next week, with a spokesperson saying: “Kym Marsh has tested positive for COVID-19.

“As a result, Kym and Graziano will not be participating in Strictly Come Dancing this weekend. Strictly Come Dancing protocols mean that all is well, they will return the following week.”

From the early days of the 2022 series, radio DJ Tyler West was one of the favorites to win – in fact, he was even the first celebrity this year to score a 10.

The winner of 2022 hasn’t even lifted the glitter ball trophy yet, but the strictly live tour has already been announced.

It’s a hot ticket for many Strictly fans, as the show’s favorites take to arenas across the UK to announce a different champion each night, and contestants’ names have started rolling in for the 2023 broadcasts. .

So far, Ellie Simmonds, Will Mellor and Tyler West have been named for the tour, with more stars to be announced.

It will start on January 20 at the Utilita Arena in Birmingham and other stops will include Nottingham, Leeds, Manchester, the O2 Arena in London and the SSE Arena in Belfast.

The comedian was caught kissing his married dance partner Katya Jones on his then-girlfriend Rebecca Humphries’ birthday, and Humphries went on to speak out about his emotionally abusive behavior during their relationship, recently publishing a book about it.

He said: “Hands down the most depressing month of my life, Edinburgh after Strictly. We’re coming into Edinburgh okay I think it’s a 200 seater I’ve never sold Edinburgh first night.

“It doesn’t even occur to me that there is no shortage of stock. Just before I’m about to continue, my agent walks in and says, “Just so you know, there’s about 30 people.”

“To be told that when you’re about to continue is horrible. That’s when I was like, ‘Oh, oh’. My career was dead, I was finished.

“My agent said, ‘I can’t do anything. I’m sorry, I tried. I tried everything’.”
