Ride on the old fire truck? Bringing home a treasure from the gift shop? There may be no greater baby boomer memory for kids in upstate New York than a visit to the Catskill Game Farm. At one time, this special place was the largest private family zoo in America. It operated from 1933 to 2006.

Today it is still there in a fun and exciting way. Yes, today you can spend the night on the grounds of the original game farm and even stay in an original theme park building! It has been beautifully restored as a boutique catskill mountain innIt’s dripping with nostalgia, and it’s awesome!
