The iconic Moulin Rouge windmill available on Airbnb for $1

Windmill emblematic of the Moulin Rouge in Paris, Francewill be available for one night stay on select days from June, Airbnb announced on Tuesday.

Guests can live out their 19th-century Parisian dreams by staying in the Belle Époque-inspired boudoir room inside the windmill, but there’s so much more.

Those staying at the Moulin Rouge will also have access to behind the scenes and a private tour highlighting the history of the legendary landmark and its costume designers.

After the tour, guests can enjoy a traditional three-course French meal prepared by resident chef Arnaud Demerville on the rooftop terrace, according to Airbnb.

Claudine Van Den Bergh, Principal Dancer and Airbnb Host, will host a meet and greet with guests in her dressing room and afterward, guests will be assigned the best seats to enjoy the acclaimed Moulin Rouge show.”magic.”

Also included will be a classic Parisian breakfast in the morning after a night of festivities.

This whole magical experience will only cost €1 per night, which is about $1.05 in US dollars.

“Attending a show at the Moulin Rouge offers an escape from everyday life and an incredible immersion in the glamor and grandeur of the French Music Hall. The Belle Époque-inspired interior of our much-loved windmill will transport guests back in time from which this timeless cabaret emerged,” said Van Den Bergh.

The windmill is located in the heart of Montmartre in Paris and was decorated under the direction of the 19th century French historian, Jean-Claude Yon, to authentically renovate the windmill exactly as it would have looked in the past. Belle Epoque era, according to Airbnb.

“The Belle Époque was a time when French culture and arts flourished – and no monument is more emblematic of this period than the Moulin Rouge. This secret room inside the cabaret’s famous windmill was designed to take you on an authentic journey back in time to experience the French capital of arts and pleasures for a moment of history,” Yon said.

There will be three individual one-night stays for two people on June 13, 20 and 27.

Reservations will be available on Airbnb from May 17 at 6:00 p.m. British Summer Time (BST), or 1:00 p.m. US EST.
