In one of most wanted homes on Airbnb right now, guests can relax in a 200-square-foot luxury glass home in the heart of Vermont’s Green Mountains.
Warren’s Tiny Glass House is one of Airbnb’s most sought-after homes in the “New” category, one of six new categories on the site defined as “good finds added to Airbnb in the last 10 weeks”.
“This upscale mirrored glass home was built in Estonia and combines Scandinavian design with breathtaking Vermont views for an unforgettable experience,” according to the listing.
The tiny house is furnished with a queen bed with an “extra comfortable” eco-friendly mattress, Cozy Earth bedding, a Vitruvi aromatherapy diffuser, a full bathroom with a rain shower, heated floors and a kitchen with a small cooktop and mini fridge. The host brings local touches in the form of handmade dishes and soap, as well as locally made snacks. Guests are also treated to organic red wine.
Outside, the property features a hot tub with views of Sugarbush Mountain, a patio, barbecue grill, fire pit, and a large lawn.
The home’s mirrored glass walls “give the illusion of endless space and a feeling that you’re one with nature,” the listing noted, and guests can view wildlife right from their bed. .
For the adventurous, Warren offers snowshoeing, hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. Skiers and snowboarders can also tackle the nearby slopes maple grove mountain.
Guests can stream shows and browse the internet, but the WiFi is not high speed due to the remote location of the house.
Travelers looking for lodging from November through April should have four-wheel drive and all-season or snow tires, the listing noted, because the house is perched high on the mountain and road conditions can be tricky.
