Three people charged with weekend shooting at Southaven party store, officials say – FOX13 News Memphis

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Three Memphis men face charges after a man was shot and killed at a party store in Mississippi over the weekend.

Todario Clemmons, 24, is charged with capital murder and conspiracy to commit a felony.

Ladarius Brantley, 19, and Keveon Burks, 20, are both accused of complicity after the fact.

On October 9, Gequais D. Brown was shot dead in Southaven, Mississippi.

The shooting took place around 11:30 a.m. at Party Works located in the 7000 block of Airways Blvd.

Brown was rushed to Baptist DeSoto but did not survive.

On Monday, a murder warrant was issued against Clemmons by Southaven City Court.

The US Marshals Two Rivers Violent Fugitive Task Force located Clemmons inside a house in the 1400 block of Old Hickory Road in Memphis on Tuesday. He was taken into custody without incident, the US Marshals said.

With the help of the Memphis Homicide Division, Memphis Gang Task Force, ATF Task Force, Ridgeway Station Task Force and Raines Station Task Force, the three subjects have been taken into custody and await their extradition from 201 Poplar in Southaven. .

A red Dodge Charger with two black racing stripes in the middle and “SRT” on the rear window was used during filming. Southaven Police said they were still looking for the car.
