Treehouse in the Bali Jungle hits the market for just $335

For around $335 a night, you can rent a secluded jungle treehouse in the middle of Bali, the Indonesian jungle on Airbnb.

And let’s just say it’s the perfect getaway for anyone looking to get away from it all and everyone.

So far, it seems like a lot of people are hoping to do just that. The house, known as “Aura House” is in high demand and is already sold out until January next year.

Perched on top of the Ayung River, the rental offers breathtaking views of nature and includes two en-suite bedrooms, a large fully furnished living room, a kitchen and a private swimming pool.

The unique listing describes itself as an eco-friendly house built entirely of bamboo and located on the west bank of the Ayung River facing east to catch the sunrise.

“It’s the perfect gateway for adventurous couples and honeymooners,” the listing reads. “The whole house is private – it’s just for you and your guests.”

Unique to the house is one of the famous egg-shaped doors built by design company Ibuku, which you can find at the entrance to the second suite.

“The atmosphere of Aura House is perfect for people looking to disconnect from their hectic city life and/or nature lovers,” the listing notes. “Be prepared to be woken by the sun streaming into your room and the sounds of the river below.”

For dining, the airbnb explains that there is a separate common area, which includes a natural pool, a bamboo dining pavilion, and their communal kitchen restaurant where guests can order breakfast, lunch, snacks, and snacks. snacks, drinks and dinner from a selection of local traditional Balinese. and Indonesian favorites and Western cuisine options.

There is also the possibility of delivering meals directly to the rental.

And despite the oasis-like feel, there are a few caveats.

“Part of our appeal is that we are located in very natural surroundings, and although there are a few local village shops nearby with very basic supplies, we are 15 minutes away [from] the main road,” the list admits. “We can help buy supplies for customers, but we recommend that customers bring any necessary personal supplies such as snacks, fruit, beverages.”

“Also, from time to time, you might be bothered by mosquitoes and other bugs (we’re in the rainforest after all!),” the listing adds. “We provide our customers with natural repellents to reduce these nuisances as much as possible.

Several activities can also be arranged, including couples massage, yoga sessions, petal bath (all on site), airport pickup, and bamboo-related workshops and tours.
