ORLANDO, Florida. – Central Florida is known for being a vacation spot, even if you live in the area.

Whether you’re a tourist or planning a staycation, there are plenty of unique options to choose from when it comes to Airbnb.

Danville

Located near Lake Harney, this 25-acre property offers some unique options. You can choose from a small house inside an airplane hangar, a man cave, a luxury yurt, and a treehouse. Depending on where you are staying, prices range from $75 a night to $170.

The little treehouse

Consider this chic “urban cool meets childhood whimsy” option. This is a boutique bungalow separate from downtown in the Country Club of Orlando.
It is located on the second floor of a renovated 1926 carriage house. To stay here is around $70 a night. Many guests have found it a comfortable and quiet place to stay.

The Ritz

This Airbnb gives you the opportunity to stay in a tiny house overlooking Lake Fairview in Orange County. The cost is $84 a night, but homeowners also have 8 other tiny home options to choose from. They range from $64 to $89 a night. Owners tell us they’ve taken to putting tiny homes on Airbnb to give people a chance to see what they look like and pique their interest in case they’re interested in buying one.

Key West Cottage

If you’re looking to plan a relaxing vacation, hundreds of reviews call this Airbnb a quiet place to stay. It’s a cozy little cabin with a full kitchen at the back of the main house. It’s $93 a night and located 3 miles between Mount Dora, Tavares and Eustis. The owner says there are 2 cats and 3 dogs on the property. You can also bring your four-legged friend, but you must inform the owner in advance.

Knightsbridge

From $25 to $36 a night, you can rent a room in this medieval castle-themed home in the Moss Park/Lake Nona area. The owner offers two rooms: “Le Vagabond” and “Le Manoir”. According to his Airbnb listing, “The Wanderer” room is inspired by his stay at Bernstein Castle on the Austro-Hungarian border. It offers a reduced fare for a single traveler “wandering” through Europe. The owner says he’s embraced the idea of ​​giving back to the solo traveler.

Built circa 1924, you can rent a bedroom and bath in this downtown Orlando home. This establishment has five stars and a hundred reviews. For $57 a night, you can also get five-star treatment. The host lives on site, but the bedroom has a private entrance and is separated from the main house by a locked door. The owner says she inherited the house, along with five cats. Because she and her husband already have two, you will see the cats on the property. She tells the guests that they live outside in the Savannah Garden below – and that they did.

You can find this lovely mobile home in Kissimmee and book it for $76 a night. Even though it is one bedroom, it can actually sleep seven people. The loft has two double mattresses. There is a queen bed in the bedroom and a sleeper sofa. If this one is booked, the owner also offers two other mobile homes: Le Jubilee Cottage and Les Coquillages.

According to the Airbnb listing, the woman renting the property works for a company that has several listings of more luxurious homes in the Central Florida area.
