You can spend the night in a medieval-style castle in Indiana

Did you know there was a castle located in Indiana? That’s right, and you can stay the night!

As someone who grew up in tri-state, the only castle I know of near my home is Castle High School in Newburgh (thanks to the Knights my alma mater). But other than high school, I didn’t know there were any real castles in Indiana, but it turns out I was wrong. There’s a castle located in Bowing Green, Indiana, and you can spend the night there, get married, or have a medieval dinner party there!

Clayshire Castle is located in Bowling Green, Indiana (did you know there was also a Bowling Green, Indiana?) and although it looks like a picture from a fairy tale, it’s not, it’s a real one bed and breakfast and you can book a stay there at any time.

If you’re looking for a place to get away from it all not too far from home, Clayshire Castle is located in Bowling Green, Indiana, about 2 hours from Evansville. So it’s really not far from a drive at all.
