$1.2M Meiselman home in Palm Springs comes with trailer – Press Enterprise

A remodeled Palm Springs home designed by modernist developer Jack Meiselman is up for grabs at $1.15 million.

Situated on a quarter-acre lot in the Little Beverly Hills neighborhood, the listing markets the three-bedroom, 1,170-square-foot, two-bathroom home as “a very successful Airbnb” that has generated more than $100,000 last year. It comes with a vintage Cardinal trailer.

There is a swimming pool, pétanque court and patio for meals.

Property records show the home was last sold in October 2020 for $750,000. It is one of 84 houses in the desert enclave attributed not only to Meiselman but also to William Krisel and Alexander Construction Co.

A 2021 article in Atomic Ranch notes that Meiselman got his start as the partner of Bob Alexander of Alexander Construction. He then teamed up with his brother, Bernie. The Meiselman brothers built affordable vacation homes using post-and-beam construction, with many features visible in this well-preserved throwback to the era of butterfly-style roofs.

Inside the circa 1957 house is an all-white interior with tongue-and-groove ceilings, cork flooring and clerestory windows. It includes a generously sized living room, dining area, open kitchen with stainless steel appliances and breakfast counter.

The master bedroom has an ensuite bath with a window in tiled shower and custom cabinetry.

An oversized laundry room with additional storage space completes the listing.

The furniture in the house is available separately.

John White of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties owns the list.
