Best Ice Cream in Eastern Iowa Reopens Two Locations
Not one but two locations will open for the season this month!
One of Cedar Valley’s most popular ice cream franchises is slowly returning for the 2023 season. 4 Queens Dairy Cream is an area staple with multiple locations dotted around Cedar Valley.
Even though the temperature may be a bit chilly, that won’t stop anyone from getting their local ice cream. Two sites should reopen very soon.
Dairy cream 4 queens in Cedar Falls announced in November that it would close for the next few months. 4 Queens has several different locations spread throughout the Cedar Valley including; Cedar Falls, Waverly, Waterloo and Evansdale.
Here are all the locations.
Cedar Falls Location: 1310 W 1st Street
Waterloo location: 207 E Tower Park Drive
Evandale location: 3640 Lafayette Road
Waverly Location: 109 1st Street Southwest
This Cedar Falls ice cream spot will open on February 8 for the season ! For more information, be sure to check out the website.
The Waterloo site closed on October 23, just weeks before the announcement of the Cedar Falls site closure. It is not yet known when the Waterloo or Evandale spots will reopen.
However, in another exciting twist of events, the owners of Waverly’s restaurant announced its imminent opening. They dropped the announcement on social media that they would be opening for the upcoming season on Thursday, February 9.
Iowa’s Weirdest Rental Properties
Here are some of my favorite weird and cool rental properties you can check out in Iowa!
The Pershing Square restaurant in New York
A restaurant in New York has an interesting connection to a celebrity in Iowa. This location was a filming location for an adjacent actress from Iowa.
