Steve Jarvis, co-founder of Independent Cottages, said: “Last summer has seen huge demand for holidays in the UK, with demand often far exceeding supply, and everyone I speak to in industry agree that 2022 will be another busy year.
“However, some holidaymakers may experience the same availability issues as last year if they take too long to book.
“Before coronavirus the trend of UK holiday bookings was increasingly last minute, but that has changed and people are booking their UK holidays well in advance.”
